Federal rule (45 CFR § 180) requires every U.S. hospital to publish a machine-readable file of standard charges and payer-negotiated rates. CMS doesn't aggregate them. Commercial aggregators paywall their data behind NDAs. Hospital Ledger is an open-source, public-good crawler that pulls 5,426 facilities and 7,191 MRF URLs into a single CC0 dataset — alive/dead status, file format, last-updated date, and the parsed prices behind them. CMS-complaint workflow planned for non-compliant hospitals.

Snap a photo and AI writes the title, category, and description; GPS routes the report to the nearest of 435 NPS-covered parks; it's delivered to that park's ranger mailbox through the Park Service's own contact form. No login, no app, no new email infrastructure — built solo on Cloudflare Workers + Hono. The NPS has no public report API, so this is the working proof that citizen-powered park upkeep is one form away.
